COEP Faculty and Students Awarded NIDA Honors

Dr. Todd Campbell, Professor and Chair, and Counseling Psychology doctoral students Rebecca Mayor and Sara Hegerty were awarded an NIDA Early Career Investigator Poster Session Travel Award for their poster entitled, " Supportive Significant Others in Motivational Enhancement Therapy: Clinicians' Perspectives."

Their research was completed as part of Dr. Campbell's NIAAA-funded research project, Significant Others in Motivational Enhancement Therapy for Alcohol Use Disorders, and was presented at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Early Career Investigator Poster Session at the Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association (APA) in San Francisco, California. The event was sponsored by APA Divisions 28 (Psychopharmacology and Substance Abuse) and 50 (Addictions), the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), and NIDA.
