Chinese Delegates Visit School of Education

Delgates from Ningbo University in China met with Dr. William Henk, Dean of the School of Education, and Dr. Janet Matthews to discuss the Marquette University teacher education program on Monday, June 18. The group was interested in learning more about the accreditation process for universities in the U.S., as well as discussing the specific requirements for teacher education and licensure. The delegation lauded the urban mission of the university while noting the demographic differences between Milwaukee and urban communities in China.
