Released: 3/8/07
During the last four years, Marquette faculty have increased external research funding by 36 percent and doubled federal research funding. In fiscal year 2006, Marquette faculty received $1.4 million for research equipment that will benefit not only Marquette faculty and students but also those at neighboring institutions.
The School of Education is pleased to have faculty who contribute to Marquette’s mission through their participation in ground-breaking research.
Robert Fox, Professor in the Department of Counseling & Educational Psychology, is featured in Marquette University Research, a new research publication being produced this month. Dr. Fox is most recognized for his work with The Behavior Clinic, a collaborative effort between the Penfield Children's Center and Marquette University School of Education. The clinic has been serving southeastern Wisconsin since 2003. It provides assistance free of charge to families with young children with significant behavioral problems.
Marquette University Research is a collaborative effort between the Office of Marketing and Communication and the Office of the Provost.
In addition to the feature on Dr. Fox, this year’s issue of Marquette University Research features current efforts in areas of children, ethics, biotechnology, crime, and aging. In addition to faculty research efforts, the publication also includes profiles of three undergraduate students who have made research an important part of their studies.
