Milwaukee Tennis and Education Foundation (MTEF) Seeks Education Director

The MTEF sponsors a youth outreach program called TEAM (Tennis, Education and Mentoring) that combines education, leadership, teamwork, mentoring and life skills with the sport of tennis.  It is neighborhood-based and free for the children, who range in age from 7 to 16 years old, and come from socio-economically challenged areas of the city. 

 

The Education Director will be responsible, with the Tennis Director, for the overall operation of the TEAM After-School youth program.  Responsibilities include hiring and training of staff, curriculum development, coordination of data collection for program and evaluation data. Additional responsibilities include communicating with parents and school staff, as well as supervising instructors.  The Director will Implement the Arthur Ashe Essay Contest, maintain weekly office hours, and report  to the Executive Director of the Foundation.
