Janet Matthews, Director of Teacher Education at Marquette and collector of art by Milwaukee artists, was among the 75 women recently nominated by the Greater Milwaukee community as “Women of Influence” in the visual arts.

These women were nominated by the Greater Milwaukee community in response to a request from Mary Louise Schumacher, Journal Sentinel fine arts reporter.
