Mission Week, held this year from February 1-6, focused on the process of peacemaking in a community and world torn by violence, unrest and fear. Keynote speaker for the week was Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, who conveyed “Lessons I Learned from my Grandfather".

Marquette students were asked to participate in the mission week celebration by submitting essays addressing the question: How are you called to construct peace in our community and world?
