The School of Education is pleased to offer its congratulations to the School of Education Student Council (SOESC) which received the honor of being the outstanding New Student Organization of the Year for 2006. Established in October of 2005, the School of Education Student Council was created to act as a student voice to School of Education administration as well as assist students in identifying professional goals and cultivating skills to meet those goals. 

The award recipients were nominated by students and university administrators and honored at the Student Organization Awards Reception held on Wednesday, April 26th.
