Dr. Sharon Chubbuck - Recipient of Institute for Urban Life Grant

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Sharon Chubbuck, Assistant Professor in EDPL, who has received a $3500 grant from the Institute for Urban Life---a Curriculum Enrichment Grant to develop courses will enhance the University's urban mission. 

 

Dr. Chubbuck will be working to design a course to provide pre-service teachers (and graduate students) with linguistic and sociolinguistic information, as well as pedagogical information, relevant to the linguistic diversity found in urban schools.
