Sarah Jerome - Finalist for Superintendent's Award

An alumnus of the School of Education Superintendent licensure curriculum, Dr. Sarah Jerome of the School District of Kettle Moraine, was one of four national finalists for the 2005 Superintendent of the Year award.
The
finalists for the award were chosen from 50 state
Superintendent of the Year finalists, all of whom
represent excellence in school leadership nationwide.
The annual awards program is open to all U.S. public
school superintendents as well as superintendents
of American schools abroad and Department of Defense
Education Activity School superintendents who plan
to continue in the profession.
Dr. Jerome is also an alumnus
of Greensboro College (B.A.) and Duke University (M.A.T.,
Ph.D.) and has served as superintendent at Kettle
Moraine for the past 12 years. She has been characterized
as a prominent leader in public school education who
takes her work as a wife, mother, and community volunteer
equally seriously. Sarah also serves her church, a
local hospital, and many civic organizations in the
Milwaukee region.
