Engineering class

BIOMEDICAL

Bioelectronics major

The bioelectronics track includes rigorous education in electrical engineering within the interdisciplinary framework of the curriculum. This includes one full year of courses in electric circuits and one semester each of analog electronics and digital electronics. This curriculum supports interests focused on the measurement of bioelectric signals and biomedical instrumentation design. Senior year, the curriculum features intensive biomedical instrument design and computer laboratories emphasizing modern bioelectric applications. In addition, the senior year capstone design course places the student on a multidisciplinary design team to solve an actual industrial design problem.
