Patrick Mullen

Patrick Mullen, B.S.

Patrick has been an environmental engineering undergraduate student at Marquette since 2009, and plans to graduate this December. He is currently working on a research project under the guidance of Dr. Brooke Mayer to improve the removal and recovery of phosphorus from natural waters and wastewaters using titanium dioxide photocatalysis. He has also constructed a bench-scale UV light reactor for the project and has begun testing samples to determine the extent of conversion of organic phosphorus to inorganic phosphorus. While at Marquette, Patrick also has been a member of the Annex Bowling League and Club Ultimate Frisbee Team.
