POSTER NOTE:

  • Design Day poster submittal deadline is 4pm Monday, April 29th, 2024
  • 42"x30" default size fits available 42x30 foam core display board - Design Day default
  • Print turnaround is (1) One to (4) four workdays (not counting weekends). You will receive an email notification when the poster is ready for pick-up. This is so that in the event of a mechanical or system failure, we can still guarantee your poster.
  • Name your file using the format    "Title - Your Name"   . This will allow us to track your poster in the printer system. This is better than “Presentation1” that everyone uses to name their file.
  • Completed posters are delivered to a rack in Engineering Hall, DL128 (System Integration). A message will be sent via the work order system notifying you of the completion.
  • Conference posters NOT associated with Design Day are available by request. Email dlc@marquette.edu with your requests.
  • PowerPoint slides are preferred due to print control and precision. However, we can print most file types but this is not preferred due to the usual unexpected printing problems.
  • PDFs are accepted but not preferred.
  • Poster template - Link  This template covers most poster formats on the campus.
  • Your file size should be less than 15 megabytes or the email and/or work order system won't deliver it. If you are having trouble with a file size larger than 15 meg, reduce all pictures in the file to 150-200dpi. The file size will shrink.
  • The Marquette University logo shall be used in accordance with university logo guidelines. If you wish to use the Opus College of Engineering logo, email the DLC.
  • The DLC does not accept disks, CDs, thumb drives, portable media, zip drives, carrier pigeons, or Pony Express because of the virus risks from physical media.
  • The work order link above only works if you are on the campus network.
