The Master of Science in engineering management is a 33-credit, non-thesis degree. All students must complete a minimum of six courses (18 credit hours) in the College of Engineering and five courses (fifteen credit hours beyond foundation requirements) in the Graduate School of Management.
Students who do not have an adequate undergraduate background in business or engineering may be required to complete one or more MBA foundation courses (ECON 6000, ACCO 6000, MANA 6000, MANA 6001, INTE 6000) or prerequisite engineering courses in preparation for the degree’s core courses.
Full-time students can finish the degree in one to two years, depending on their backgrounds. Part-time students normally finish the degree in three to five years.
