Hydraulics Lab

Marquette’s Hydraulics Lab is located in Olin Engineering Center and is home to the CEEN 3210 Hydraulic Engineering course laboratory, as well as many graduate student research projects.

The lab is equipped with hydraulics equipment including a 20-foot flume, hydraulic benches, and pipe loops. It also has various environmental monitoring instruments for lab and field experimentation. Flow measurement devices include handheld Acoustic Doppler Velocimeters, Area Velocity Modules, pressure transducers, and weirs. Water quality sampling equipment include multi-parameter water quality Sondes and automated samplers. Other environmental sensors include multi-parameter soil probes, rain gages, and weather stations.
