Transformational Design Program registration due: May 23, 2008
Who: All fall 2008 incoming engineering freshmen. Jump start your engineering education!
What: Transformational design experience. Short-cycle, complete design experience focused on a urgent need in the developing world. Students work in teams supervised by Marquette Engineering faculty and seniors. Teams will work to invent unique ways to provide better access to food, water, shelter, health care, education and energy for those most in need. Guest presenters, discussions and demonstrations will inspire and inform.
When: June 17-19, 2008. The program begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 17th and end at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 19th. The Transformational Design Program is scheduled between the first and second Preview (Marquette pre-registration for new students) sessions. Attend the first Preview session and then participate in the Transformational Design Program or participate in the Program and then attend the second Preview session. The cost of the Preview session you attend is not covered by the Transformational Design Program.
Where: Marquette University campus. On-campus housing, all meals and all program materials for the Transformational Design Program and provided at no cost to the student. Your only cost for the Program is round trip transportation to the Marquette campus.
