The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. At the undergraduate level we offer a bachelor of science (B.S.) degree in civil engineering, with majors in civil engineering, environmental engineering or Construction Engineering and Management (accreditation planned for 2012). The civil and environmental degree programs are fully accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012, telephone: (410) 347-7700. Graduate degrees include the master's of science (M.S.) and the doctor of philosophy (Ph.D). At either the undergraduate or graduate level, the student may emphasize one of the following areas of specialization: construction management, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydraulic/water resources engineering, structural engineering, or transportation engineering and planning.
