Clare Boothe Luce Graduate Fellowships

Two Graduate Research Fellowships are currently available in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Marquette University.  These fellowships are funded by Clare Boothe Luce Graduate Fellowships Program and provide excellent opportunities for students to train for research and education careers in electrical engineering.

Who Should Apply: (Women who are US Citizens only)

  •   Students interested in completing a Ph.D. degree in electrical   engineering.
  •   Interested applicants should have completed (or will shortly   complete) an M.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar program. 
  •   Priority will be given to those women interested in pursuing an     academic career in a university setting. 

Fellowship Details:

  •   Duration: up to 2 years.
  •   Compensation: up to $21,000/year stipend + tuition reimbursement   + up to $3000/ year for expenses for professional travel and health   insurance.

Selection of the fellows will be based on graduate application materials, which include GRE exam scores, academic record, three letters of recommendation and a statement of purpose.

Starting Date:

  •   Fall 2006 or Spring 2007
