GAANN Doctoral Fellowship Program
(U.S. Department of Education Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need)
Graduate Research Fellowships are currently available in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department a Marquette University. The fellowships are associated with a Graduate Assistance in Area of National Need (GAANN) grant/program and provide excellent opportunities for students to train for research and education careers in the area of Smart Sensor Systems.
Who Should Apply: (US Citizens and Permanent Residents only)
- Students interested in completing a Ph.D degree in the area of smart sensor systems.
- Interested applicants should have completed (or will shortly complete) an M.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar program with a concentration which can be applied to Smart Sensor Systems (such as sensor and sensor development, signal processing, pattern recognition, feature extraction, control theory/systems)
Fellowship Details:
- Duration: up to 3 years, with a possible additional year pending satisfactory degree progress.
- Compensation: up to $30,000/year stipend, tuition reimbursement, plus others
