Center for Joining and Manufacturing Assembly
The Center for Joining and Manufacturing Assembly (CJMA) is an organization linking the Marquette engineering and the industrial manufacturing communities. The CJMA’s mission is to provide a forum through which joining and assembling problems from the Center’s members can be solved. The CJMA is dedicated to advancing the technologies associated with joining and assembly through shared problem solving, a shared knowledge base and by advancing the state of the art through research and design. The three major thrust areas are Mechanical Joining, Welding, Brazing and Soldering and Assembly.
