Engineering Laboratories Policies

Engineering Computing Laboratories
There are a number of general computer laboratories which are open to the entire student community at the College of Engineering, Marquette University. Computer lab access is free of charge to all Engineering students. Personalized accounts are supplied to Engineering students, faculty, and staff. All labs provide full internet access and free laser printing via high speed network printers. Other computing-related equipment is also available.

Computer Use Policy
The use of the computing and network facilities of Marquette University are available at no direct charge to all faculty, registered students, and staff for University research, educational purposes, and University administrative work only. Persons using computing and network resources for other than the above stated purposes (such as for outside consulting or for work for another institution or person) must apply for a funded/commercial access code, submit a purchase order, and pay for resources at current rates. The University retains final authority to define what constitutes acceptable use.

Engineering Computer Lab Regulations
The Computing Resources at the College of Engineering are provided for current Engineering students of Marquette University in order to complete assigned course work or pursue other academic and educational projects subject to the College of Engineering Acceptable Use Policy.

Computer Facilities Reservation Policy
Reservations can be made by individuals for a single machine/device/ room,or by faculty or staff for a class or a seminar. Be aware that the procedures for each differ. If you have any questions regarding this issue, pleasae contact the Computer Systems Manager (x83609, HH482A) at the College of Engineering.
