Blue and Gold Day - April 21, 2012
Join us for our spring open house, a program specifically designed for sophomores and juniors as you begin looking at colleges. You'll learn how to conduct a successful college search and learn more about Marquette University.
High School Senior Events
Engineering Workshops - September
Experience a hands-on engineering lab without the homework! High schools seniors are invited to further explore an engineering field of interest with Marquette's best engineering faculty.
Discovery Days - September and October
An Engineering Information Session is offered as a part of the Marquette University event to answer questions for students and families as they conduct their college searches.
Admissions Application Deadline - December 1st
Admission decisions are mailed no later than the end of January.
Scholarship Deadline - February 15th
Marquette offers a wide variety of merit scholarships that support the university's mission while recognizing student achievement — excellence in and out of the classroom, commitment to community service, and demonstrated leadership.
Recommended Financial Aid Deadline - February 15th
For optimum financial aid consideration be sure to file the FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov). We STRONGLY recommend completing the FAFSA and submitting it to the federal processor by February 15 to make the March 1 priority deadline for consideration of all financial assistance.
Engineering Scholarship Competition - February 25, 2012
You and your family are invited to campus for a two-for-one deal: Learn more about Marquette during a visit, and compete for a scholarship while you're here.
Scholarship Notifications - March
Scholarship and scholars program notification begins in mid-March and continues through mid-April.
Admitted Student Day - April 15th and 16th, 2012
Still have some questions about Marquette? This event is designed for admitted students to have one more visit to campus before submitting their tuition and housing despoits prior to the May 1st deadline.
Deposit Deadline - May 1st
Tuition and housing deposits are due May 1st to secure your spot in the freshman class.
Preview - June
Preview offers new first year students and their families the opportunity to peer into their lives at Marquette University. You will meet the dean of your college and academic advisers to discuss academic requirements, course selection, transfer of credits, and registration for the fall term. You will also learn about your residence hall, financial aid, and how to get involved on campus.
Online Course Registration - July
Move-In and New Student Orientation - August 22-26, 2012
Plan to attend this exciting week, which begins on the day that you move into your assigned residence hall - Wednesday, August 22, 2012.
