Ph.D. candidates who seek a college teaching position are encouraged to consult the Modern Language Association Job List and take advantage of the services of the Faculty Exchange of the MLA and the Faculty Exchange of the College Conference on Composition and Communication. Graduates who are interested in a position in secondary education are encouraged to seek advice from the professor in charge of English Education and from the Placement Office of the Marquette University School of Education.
