The Educational Opportunity Student Support Services Program (EOP-SSS), an academic department of Marquette University, has assisted over 1,800 first-generation college students and students from low-income families obtain a college education since 1969. EOP-SSS graduates have established successful careers and become leaders in health, business, law, government, and other professions. Application Process

 

We are currently accepting applicants for the 2019/2020 school year. Our application has recently changed, so please be sure to read through it carefully. 

 

Step 1: MU Official Application

Please complete Marquette University Application Process at http://www.mu.edu/explore/apply-today.php.


Step 2: Complete the Student Support Services Supplemental Application

You can apply on-line at: https://admissions.marquette.edu/register/SSS-Application-2019 After submitting your application, you will receive an email from the EOP Student Support Services Program confirming our receipt of your application.

 

 Step 3: MU SSS Undergraduate Application Certification Page

You must complete the MU SSS Undergraduate Application Certification signature page. This can be scanned and emailed to eopadmissions@mu.edu or faxed to 414 288-1769.

 

Step 4: Financial Verification

 

Please provide the following: 2017 signed Federal Income Tax Return or other income documentation (for example: Signed Parents’ Federal Income tax form (if dependent), signed student income tax form, documentation of nontaxable income such as food stamps, Medicaid, or SSI and include all case number(s)). Copies may be submitted, but MUST BE SIGNED. The document to request tax transcripts is located here. The signature page and tax documents can be turned in to the SSS Office (Coughlin Hall, 3rd floor) or scan and email copies to eopadmissions@mu.edu or fax to 414 288-1769.

 

 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING EOP-SSS APPLICATION DEADLINES. Completed applications will be reviewed after each deadline. Selected applicants will be contacted via email for an interview.

 

First Deadline: October 1, 2018, 4:30pm

 

Second Deadline: November 1, 2018, 4:30pm

 

Third Deadline: December 3, 2018, 4:30pm

 

 

Interviewed applicants will be notified of a decision within 2 weeks.

 

Due to the competitiveness of the application process we highly recommend you submit your completed Marquette application and your completed materials to SSS as soon as possible. SSS is unable to make a decision on your SSS application if your Marquette application is incomplete.
