Marquette Alumni in Admissions Volunteer

Connect your Marquette experience with future generations of Marquette alumni.

As a Marquette graduate, you can be a valuable resource for prospective students who are considering applying to and enrolling in your alma mater. Marquette University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking alumni who would like to volunteer their time to help ensure the continued success of their alma mater. By joining the Marquette Alumni Admissions Volunteer Program, you can assist the university in a number of ways detailed below. The admissions office will provide all volunteers with the information and materials they need to help prospective students and their families as they consider Marquette University.

Please indicate the program(s) in which you would like to participate.

	College fairs. Marquette University is represented at hundreds of college fairs throughout the country — and alumni staff more than 80 percent of them! You would spend a few hours meeting high school students and their families, answering general questions about Marquette and its admission procedures, and sharing your enthusiasm for your alma mater.
	Phone calls to admitted students. Make a high-quality contact by congratulating students for being admitted to Marquette and answering general questions about the university.
	Hosting admission receptions. Whether at your home, your office for you to make prospective students feel at home with Marquette.
	Programs for prospective students. Members of the admissions staff travel throughout the country offering information sessions and receptions. You can assist the staff when they meet with prospective students at programs in your area.
	Alumni in high schools. We have many alumni throughout the country who work in high schools. If you are one and would like to be a resource to prospective Marquette students, we would refer them to you as their "resident Marquette expert."
	Adopt a high school. Be the local go-to person for a high school of your choice. Establish contact with a high school in your area, forward Marquette information to it and keep Marquette's admissions office apprised of needs as they arise.
