Resident Activities
Marquette's residence halls offer many opportunities for students to get involved. Apart from just participating in organized programs and activities, students can join different hall organizations.
Hall Council, the Residence Hall Association and the National Residence Hall Honorary are all great ways for students to help shape their living environments.
HALL TRADITIONS
All of Marquette's residence halls have unique traditions, including Sweet & Sour (Carpenter) Tower, Women's Wellness Week, Very Special Arts, O'D Pig Roast, Mashuda First Fridays, McCormick Goes to the Movies (MGM) and Straz on Stage.
LATE NIGHT and WEEKEND EVENTS
Looking for something to do in the later hours? Check out Late Night Marquette. Try cosmic bowling, late show movies, karaoke and more.
INTRAMURAL SPORTS
A wide variety of intramural sports, from water polo to football, are available for teams and individuals through Recreational Sports.
HALL STORE MOVIE SERIES
Another great feature of Marquette's residence halls and apartments is the Hall Store Movie Series. Available on Channel 95, the rotation changes monthly and shows new releases and old favorites.
WE ARE RESIDENCE LIFE
The Office of Residence Life is composed of a dynamic group of talented individuals who want to ensure that students living in residence halls and apartment buildings have rewarding experiences.
Our professional staff includes our central office team; residence hall directors and hall ministers; and student employees. Resident assistants work closely with specific floors and wings of students, and facilities managers maintain the living environments.
