Boys & Girls Clubs of America recognizes fortitude of character, commitment to service and extraordinary leadership through the National Youth of the Year Program. Marquette, through its role as a national education partner for the Boys & Girls Clubs, is pleased to honor those students who have chosen to Be The Difference in their community and, in turn, the world. Marquette offers full-tuition scholarships for up to five members of the Boys & Girls Clubs every year. Former Marquette star and NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade serves as a champion, supporter and spokesperson for the partnership through the Wade's World Foundation.
Boys & Girls Clubs SCHOLARSHIP
Through the Urban Scholars Program, Marquette awards two full-tuition scholarships to members of Milwaukee-Area Boys & Girls Clubs. Up to three additional awards are designated for members of the Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide.
This scholarship is renewable each semester of a recipient's four-year (eight-semester) undergraduate program, provided the recipient remains in good academic standing. For additional program details regarding this award review the applicable Award Information Guide, available from the Office of Student Financial Aid at marquette.edu/financialaid.

Urban Scholars Program Selection Guidelines
- Accepted for admission into Marquette for the fall semester
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all college preparatory courses
- Demonstrated leadership in curricular and extracurricular activities
- Demonstrated financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
