Our shadow visits are events led by current students (our Marquette experts) where you experience firsthand academic and social life on campus. You will attend classes, eat in a dining hall, and live a day in the life of a Marquette student.

Dates for the 2017–18 academic year:

(Registration for spring shadow visits will be available in mid-December.)

  • February 9, 15, 18–19 (overnight), 25–26 (overnight)
  • March 22, 25–26 (overnight)
  • April 12, 15–16 (overnight), 20, 22–23 (overnight), 27

Please note that fall shadow visits are reserved for students who have applied. Spring shadow visits are reserved for students who have been admitted.

Register online for a shadow visit. Shadow visits will close one week prior to the event.

After you register, you will receive a confirmation email that will have more details including parking information. Overnight visits require a permission slip that must be submitted one week before the visit. For additional questions, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (414) 288-7302. 

What to expect during your daylong shadow visit experience:

  • 7:45 a.m. Check in. Light refreshments provided.
  • 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Depart with your host for daylong shadow experience.
  • 3 p.m. Check out. You will return to Zilber Hall to check out and speak with an admissions counselor if you have lingering questions. You will also have opportunities to visit additional locations on campus.

What to expect during your overnight shadow visit experience:

  • Sunday 5 p.m. Check in.
  • Sunday 5:15 p.m. to Monday 3 p.m. Depart with your host for your overnight shadow experience.
  • 3 p.m. Check out. You will return to Zilber Hall to check out and speak with an admissions counselor if you have lingering questions. You will also have opportunities to visit additional locations on campus.
