Marquette seeks, therefore, to produce computer scientists who can adapt and grow along with their chosen profession. As computer science evolves, so does employment in its various fields. So what can you do with a major in computer science? Our graduates have gone on to work as system analysts, programmers, database administrators, engineers and researchers, just to name a few.
Jobs for Computer Science majors
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs for computer network, systems and database administrators are expected to grow by 30 percent through 2018. Marquette’s computer science majors are usually snapped up right after graduation, if not before. Job placement has been hovering around 100 percent for the past several years.
