"Who is my Neighbor?"

Faculty and Staff Lunch and Reflection: Confronting the realities of hookup culture:  How can we as faculty and staff at Jesuit universities foster college students’ holistic growth?

Faculty and staff  are invited to join Dr. Jennifer Beste, Associate Professor of Theological Ethics from Xavier University in Cincinnati and author of God and the Victim, as she candidly discusses current findings related to hook-up culture on college campuses, and how each of us can help create a more sexually just culture at Marquette.  Please register for this Mission Week event to ann.hilbert@marquette.edu.

“Who is my Neighbor?" Coffeehouse ~

featuring the Repairers of the Breach Choir

Come and meet our neighbors to the north, the members of the Repairer’s day shelter for the homeless, as they share stories and spirit in song and testimonials.  You will leave energized and inspired.  Beverages and treats will be served. No RSVP required. Just come and bring your friends and colleagues!

Call to Service Reflection Luncheon

All members of the Marquette campus community are invited to come together to reflect on our service experiences in light of the Inaugural Call to Service.  What have we learned, what has moved our hearts, what compels us to further action?  Join President Fr. Scott Pilarz, S.J. as he welcomes all of us to this special communal examen together.  A simple lunch will be provided.  Please RSVP to universityspecialevents@marquette.edu.

Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius

The exercises are a pathway to recognizing God's activity in our deepest desires and growing in unity with God. Emerging from the experience of St. Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, the Exercises provide a structured opportunity to mature in spiritual freedom and make choices that are responsive to God's call in one's life.
