In celebration of Marquette University's Centennial Celebration of Women honoring the advent of co-education on campus, the Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality, the Office of Mission and Ministry, the Office of the Provost and the Office of Student Development are happy to welcome Margaret Wheatley as convener and facilitator for an important conversation with MU women as we consider the call to leadership for all women at Marquette today.

Please join us for this important discussion during the upcoming Women's Leadership Summit. The purpose of this gathering is to honor the unique ways in which each of us, as Marquette employees and students, are called to contribute to our Marquette Community and to the larger world community. We welcome all Marquette employees and students to engage in this unique opportunity to name our own paths, our own realities, and the obstacles and invitations that we encounter in our lives as we follow the call to leadership. This will be an exceptional event on campus ~ speaking and listening with a diverse variety of women giving voice to that which they care about. Please join us and add your voice and experience to our learning community at this Summit. As Dr. Margaret Wheatley states, "There is no power greater than a community discovering what it cares about." (pg. 166, Turning to One Another).

(NOTE: This Summit will focus specifically on the call to women's leadership, however, all are welcome to attend.) Given the reality of class and teaching schedules that prevail in campus life, we recognize that you may need to come and go throughout the Summit so that you can attend class, etc. Please feel free to come and participate as you can. Space is limited and registration is required. Register now: Women's Leadership Summit Registration.

Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius

The exercises are a pathway to recognizing God's activity in our deepest desires and growing in unity with God. Emerging from the experience of St. Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, the Exercises provide a structured opportunity to mature in spiritual freedom and make choices that are responsive to God's call in one's life.
