Faculty Success program

The Office of Faculty Affairs, along with the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion, is pleased to support Marquette faculty interested in participating in the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity's Faculty Success Program.

Twice each year, applications are solicited and funding is provided for at least two faculty members (per semester). More than a dozen faculty have participated in this transformational program. Here's what Marquette participants have said:

"I would strongly encourage it for new faculty...my productivity has increased drastically."

"There is a different focus each week on overcoming common obstacles faculty face, but rarely talk about."

"I learned not only how to identiy, but also how to push past the things that I was consciously and subconsciously doing to impede my own progress."

"The program is thoughtfully designed, and the organization is high conscientious and supportive."

"I think the program is enormously valuable; I strongly endorse it."

Applications are now being accepted for participation in either the Summer 2017 or Fall 2017 cohorts. Please contact Dr. Gary Meyer, Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs or Dr. William Welburn, Executive Director, Diversity and Inclusion, for additional information.

Applications are due March 1, 2017.
