  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to set-up my research laboratory, develop my teaching course to include new sections on sleep/obesity, and join a writing group to peer-review grant applications.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in creative teaching methods for science-based courses. I’d also like to connect with those interested in collaborative research projects involving sleep, circadian rhythms, obesity, and diabetes.
  • I’d like to learn more about Marquette students, internal research funding mechanisms, community outreach programs, and Milwaukee beers.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to establish a sound research program and work on teaching methodologies that will engage Marquette students in active learning.

  • I’d like to learn more about research in the surrounding communities at Medical College of Wisconsin and UWM, and about the outreach programs aiding high school and middle school students from inner city schools. ​

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to learn about community near Marquette that may be interested in teaching and research partnerships with university faculty. I’d also like to provide innovative learning opportunities for my students and share these opportunities through professional conferences and publications.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in sharing their knowledge of quantitative analysis to collaborate on educational studies or research related to connections between mathematics and other areas, including, but not limited to, science, technology, engineering, the arts, and social justice.
  • I’d like to learn more about grant opportunities to support my integration of research, teaching, and faculty-led study abroad programs. I’d also like to learn more about local activities for my 3-year-old son enrolled in Marquette’s Child Care Center.​

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to develop and teach courses in applied mathematics, form new good relationships with students and faculty members, look for funding for research program, mentor student researchers, work on research, and explore the possibility of research collaboration with colleagues working in Science and Engineering departments.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in fluid mechanics and porous media, hydrodynamic instabilities, biomedical engineering, CFD, scientific computing, biological fluid and mass transport, mathematical modeling and computational fluid dynamics in cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, and other open problems.
  • I’d like to learn more about the students, the departments, and colleagues in general and their research agendas. ​ I am also interested in learning more about the new opportunities to improve my research productivity, and develop my teaching skills.​
