AACN Excellence in Academics Nursing Scholarship

Deadline: August 1 and November 1, annually

AES Engineers

Deadline: September 15, annually

Open to all students. You are not required to be taking engineering courses to be eligible. To be eligible, students need to submit an answer to one of the questions on the organization’s website. To apply, visit www.aesengineers.com/scholarships.htm

 

AFE Milwaukee Scholarship

Deadline: March 31, annually

The Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE)- Milwaukee Chapter 12 is offering scholarships to freshmen, sophomores and juniors pursuing a career in facilities engineering. Scholarships range in value from $500 to $1500, and up to three awards will be made. For further details and application form, visit www.afemilwaukee.com

 

Air Force Dental Health Professions Scholarship

Deadline: Varies with program

Open to students who are pursuing a career in dentistry leading to a DDS degree who have been accepted into an accredited dental college. Must be a U.S. citizen of good moral character and of good health. Students will incur a service commitment upon graduation. Qualifications and service commitments vary according to program. There are one-, two-, three- and four-year scholarships available. Pays for all tuition, books, and associated fees plus a $1,279 per month stipend for the length of the program. American Chemical Society Scholars Program
Deadline: March 1st Annually

Provides renewable scholarships for applicants entering the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or other chemically related fields such as environmental science, materials science, or toxicology. Students planning careers in medicine or pharmacy are not eligible. To qualify, candidates must be African American, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. Must be a high school senior intending to major in one of the above fields, or be a full-time freshman, sophomore or junior with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. American Concrete Institute (ACI) Scholarships

Deadline: November 14, 2008

 

Open to students who have completed a bachelor’s degree and who are first- or second-year graduate students pursuing a degree in engineering, architecture, or a materials science program. The program shall be in the area of concrete with an emphasis on structural design, materials, construction or any combination thereof. Must be full-time. Appel Farm Arts & Music Center
Deadline: None

Offers full and part-time employment, summer camp, and internship opportunities to students interested in pursuing the arts. Internships are available in fall (September – December) and spring (January – June), and interns are offered a $500 monthly stipend plus room and board. Applications available online.

 

Apogee Scholarship Program

Deadline: annually

Open to any person age 18 or older who is enrolled full-time. Applicants are asked to create a social media campaign for a generic product. Full details can be found on www.apogee-search.com/scholarship

 

APWA- Chicago Chapter- Lake Branch Scholarship

Deadline: April, annually

Open to students pursuing a degree in Public Works Administration, civil engineering or environmental engineering. Must meet one of the following criteria: reside in Lake County, IL; be employed by, or be an immediate family member to an employee of a Public Works Agency within Lake County; or be a current member or immediate family to a current member of the Lake Branch of the American Public Works Association. Army ROTC Full-tuition Scholarships

Four-Year Scholarship- This is intended for college freshmen in their first year of a five-year undergraduate plan. Open to U.S. Citizens between the ages of 17 and 26. Must have high school diploma or equivalent, and have high school GPA of at least 2.5. Applicants must score minimum of 920 on SATs or 19 on ACTs. Must meet physical standards and agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component. Contact your Campus Military Science department for more information.

Three-Year Scholarship- This is intended for students already enrolled in college with three years remaining. Open to U.S. Citizens between the ages of 17 and 27. Ayn Rand Institute Contests

Be Smart

The Be Smart Scholarship Competition is a competition for high school students and college students in Southeastern Wisconsin. The Be Smart Waste REduction Coalition is glad that you are ready to make a big difference for your community, your education, and your planet.

 

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship
Deadline: April 15 and September 22 annually

Awards of up to $5,000 are made for U.S. citizen undergraduates to studyabroad. Award amounts will vary depending on the length of study and student need with the average award being $4,000. Students who are receiving federal Pell Grant funding at 2-year or 4-year undergraduate colleges or universities are eligible to apply.

 

BigSun Scholarship

Builders Foundation Scholarship

Open to graduates of a Chicagoland area high school in counties of Illinois (Boone, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, LaSalle, McHenry), Indiana (Lake, Porter), or Wisconsin (Kenosha, Walworth). Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate sophomore or junior majoring in construction management or construction engineering. Must be a U.S. citizen or documented permanent resident. Cathy L. Brock Memorial Scholarship

Open to minority students in a graduate healthcare program. Must be U.S. citizen. Must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Delta Nu Alpha Scholarship

Deadline: May 1, annually

Open to all undergraduate and graduate students majoring in business, logistics, or supply chain management. See scholarship office for application materials.

 

Division of Children and Family Services Scholarship

Deadline: The 15th of each month

Applicants must have been in out-of-home care (OHC) placement (foster home, group home, residential care, court ordered Kinship Care) for at least 6 months after the age of 15, or have been in OHC for at least 6 months and adopted after the age of 15. Must have been in OCH placement in Wisconsin as described above, or have been in OHC placement in another state but have become a resident of WI prior to attending a WI college. Candidates must be accepted into a Higher Education program at the time the application is submitted. Students must be age 20 or less, unless enrolled in a post-secondary program on his/her 21st birthday, extending eligibility to age 23. Future Teacher Scholarship

Hartford Union High School Scholarship- Open to graduates of HUHS who have applied to the School of Education and plan to pursue a teaching career. Central Middle School Scholarship- Open to graduates of HUHS and Central Middle School who have been accepted into the School of Education. Must presently be an intern or student teaching to apply. Government Finance Officers Association

Nielsen Public Investor Scholarship: Open to an employee of a local government or other public entity who is enrolled or plans to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program in public administration, finance, business administration or related field. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship: Open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time in a program leading to a career in state or local government finance. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. For details and application, visit www.gfoa.org

Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship: Open to upper-division undergraduate or graduate stduents enrolled in public administration, (governmental) accounting, finance, political science, economics or business administration.
