Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant

Eligibility Criteria for the First Year

    1. U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen
    2. Enrolled at a 2 or 4 year institution
    3. Enrolled at least half-time
    4. Pell Grant Recipient
    5. Graduated from high school after 1/1/2006
    6. Completed a rigorous high school curriculum as defined by the state

Eligibility Criteria for the Second Year

    1. Meet same requirements as a first year recipient
    2. Have a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. and achieved sophomore standing

Amounts & Selection Process

First year - $750; Second year - $1300.  Students can self-identify through the FAFSA process; however, Marquette does its own search to identify possible recipients and confirm eligibility criteria prior to awarding grant.

Application Process

  1. File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
