A high percentage of the Department's graduate students receive
financial assistance.
Teaching Assistantships are available in Spanish: The award includes
a stipend and an 18 credit tuition scholarship. Please check with
the Graduate School Office for the current amount of the stipend
and for the application forms, click
here. Teaching assistants normally teach two beginning
language courses and are permitted to carry up to nine credit
hours per semester.
Other Financial Aid: The Graduate School also has available a
number of full and partial tuition scholarships. Other financial
resources, including loans and part-time employment, are available
through the Office of Student Financial Aid.
