Receptionist

The Receptionist serves as the front-line ambassador for University Advancement, the President's Office, the Senior Vice President's Office, the Provost's Office and the Office of Mission & Identity, enabling the offices to attain their mission in providing professional, effective and efficient service to all of their constituencies.  The individual will greet visitors, triage calls and maintain knowledge of activities and locations of various staff members. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  The position requires 5 years of reception experience.  The ideal candidate will possess a solid knowledge of grammar and strong written, verbal and creative skills; multi-task and pay close attention to detail; possess strong customer service skills with the ability to problem solve; have familiarity with a business environment and procedures; work under deadlines and prioritize their work load; work efficiently in a team-oriented setting; complete tasks with minimal supervision; have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
