Chair - Kelsey Otero
Kelsey is a Milwaukee native, happy to be back in the Midwest. She is currently a student in the Graduate School of Management focusing on a concentration in Marketing. Before starting at Marquette University, Kelsey lived in Dallas, TX and worked in Olympic Marketing for three years. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she was also a coxswain on the women’s rowing team.
Vice-Chair - Joe Packhem
Joe recently graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He is working towards a graduate degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. In addition to serving on the GSO, Joe is active in the community, volunteering for three organizations: House the World, Inc., Student Platform for Engineering Education Development (SPEED), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee in his spare time.
Coordinator - Kara Pierce
Originally from the Chicagoland area, Kara received her Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2009. She has since worked in marketing in Chicago and is now attending Marquette to earn a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Outside of her program and the GSO, Kara lives a vegetarian lifestyle, volunteers in animal welfare and enjoys riding her motorcycle.
Service Co-Chair - Sally Lin
Originally from New York, Sally completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University in SC with dual-BS degrees in Biochemistry and Corporate Financial Management. She is currently studying in the Biomedical Engineering graduate program at Marquette. Sally is passionate about volunteering and giving back. Although she is new to Milwaukee, Sally has begun work at the Aurora Community Center and is seeking out additional opportunities.
Service Co-Chair - Andrew Kuttler
Andrew is originally from central Ohio and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Dayton 2012. He is currently earning a M.A. in Public Service with a Health Care Administration specialization. Prior to enrolling he worked for a year as a volunteer through the Amate House program in Chicago as an afterschool program coordinator.

Associate Dean of the Graduate School
