At orientation, representatives from Student Health Service will be available before the orientation, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. They will provide information about their on-campus clinic as well as their Center for Health Education and Promotion.
A representative from our Office of Risk Management will also be on hand to explain the features of our university-sponsored student accident / sickness insurance plan and will have brochures and enrollment information available.
Required Information from Every Student:
All newly admitted or readmitted Marquette University students are required to complete student health forms online. Failure to submit the required documentation within 30 days of the start of your first term at Marquette will result in a medical hold, preventing future registrations. For more information, click here.
All enrolled undergraduate, graduate and professional students are eligible for services at Student Health. Student Health Service will take care of you regardless of your insurance status.
Graduate, professional and part-time students may choose to pay the per semester health fee and access services. This entitles you to unlimited physician, physician assistant, dietician, nurse and health educator visits. There are no co-pays for visits. Additional fees may apply for medications, lab tests, injections, intravenous fluids, vaccines or orthopedic supplies and will be discussed with you at your time of visit. Those who opt to pay the semester health fee can do so at Student Health Service.
Students choosing not to pay the semester health fee may still access services at a fee-for-service rate. For specific charges, please make an appointment to discuss your individual health care needs by calling (414) 288-7184.
Student Health not only runs an on-campus clinic, but they educate the Marquette Community through their Center for Health Education and Promotion as well.
