Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN)

Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education.

Amounts: Full tuition plus an annual stipend of up to $21,000 depending on need.

Eligible Programs: Ph.D. programs in engineering or chemistry

Requirements and Restrictions: Students must be admitted to degree programs by the date of the application deadline, and be registered full-time during their award terms. Additional outside employment is not allowed. Complete rules and guidelines for graduate assistants can be viewed at www.grad.mu.edu/forms.
