Applicants must list any college or university that you have attended, whether or not you received a degree. You may collect all of your transcripts and send them to the Marquette Graduate School with other documents, or you may have the issuing institution send them directly to us. Transcripts will be considered official if they are embossed with the school seal, sealed in the institution’s envelope, and signed across the flap of the envelope.
Maiden Names: If your transcript was issued in a name that is different from the name that you used when you applied for graduate school, such as a maiden name, it is important that you make us aware that your transcripts will be issued in a different name. You should include a written note that states the name under which your transcript will be issued.
Applicants with in-progress course work must submit an official, final transcript verifying the grade(s) earned and official receipt of the applicant’s degree, if any.
Foreign Transcripts: Transcripts that are issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. Please note that evaluations such as those from WES and ECE are not official transcripts, although they can provide certified translations. Such evaluations must be accompanied by an official transcript issues by the academic institution.
Marquette Alumni: Applicants who previously attended Marquette University need not request Marquette transcripts, but must provide transcripts from other institutions attended, if any.
