As an F-1 visa student who has been admitted without full financial aid, you will need from us a federal certificate of eligibility (Form I-20). Federal law and university policy permit us to send the I-20 as soon as you complete an acceptable financial verification and send us an advance deposit.
The tuition deposit is $5,000. The premium for the first semester of health insurance will be deducted from this amount. You should plan to pay any balance in your tuition upon your arrival. All but $10 is refundable if you choose not to attend Marquette. (You have the option of having the I-20 sent speed post if you request it in writing, and the cost will be deducted from your advanced deposit.)
Marquette University has teamed up with peerTransfer to streamline the tuition deposit payment process for our international students. With peerTransfer you can pay from any country and any bank. You are offered excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases). You will also be able to track where your payment is in the transfer process via a student dashboard and an email confirmation will be sent to you when your payment is received by the school. To use this option, please go to marquettegrad.peertransfer.com.
We will send the I-20 as soon as we receive the required deposit and acceptable financial verification.
