Current Updates
UPASS (Milwaukee County Transit System Bus Pass): Last years survey indicated mixed results regarding the UPASS+student activity fee. Therefore, we have decided to pose another survey to graduate students which would incorporate a $41/semester fee for every graduate student (law, dental, and MBA are exempt) to have a UPASS. Watch your email for this survey and let us know what you think. It is imperative that you voice your opinion as it is an "all or nothing" circumstance. Either every student gets a UPASS for $41/semester or no graduate student will be able to access the UPASS for this rate.
Health Insurance:The University now has a contract with United Health Care. United Health Care has expressed much interest in working with Marquette to offer cheaper health insurance to graduate students. The plan that is now offered is $500 cheaper than that which was offered in the past. We are hoping to even lower the cost even more in the near future. See student health for more information or go to www.uhcsr.com and click on "Find my schools plan" to read more. The Information Line is 1-800-767-0700
