Created by the late Robert Ellis
Dunn and videographer Matthew Chernov, DanceFindings is a multi-screen,
three-channel installation taken from images collected during Dunnís dance
workshops. The exhibition was curated by Curtis L. Carter, director of
the Haggerty Museum and professor of philosophy and aesthetics. The exhibition
catalogue contains essays by Carter; Sally Banes, professor, Department
of Theatre and Drama, University of Wisconsin-Madison; Danielle Belec,
Second Wind, Toronto; Mary Edsall, assistant curator, Harvard Theatre Collection,
Harvard College Library; Jon Erickson, associate professor, Department
of English, Ohio State University; Bill Horrigan, curator of media arts,
Wexner Center for the Arts, Ohio State University; and Tom Strini, music
and dance critic, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
