The Summer Science Enrichment Program is designed for rising high school sophomores (SSEP I), juniors (SSEP II) and seniors (SSEP III) who are seriously considering a future in a medical career. Students attend classes and labs taught mostly by Marquette faculty on campus. Students who participate in the SSEP III program live on campus. The HCOP grant pays for instructional costs, and student stipends cover housing, meals, transportation and pocket money. Applications for the SSEP III program are accepted from high schools nationwide. Applications for the SSEP I and SSEP II programs are accepted from students in the Milwaukee metro area.

The application process includes an interview with the HCOP adviser and submission of an essay, transcripts, recommendation letters, income information and a completed application form. Please mail everything together in one envelope.
