College enrolls top freshman class

The College of Health Sciences enrolled 260 new freshmen in its undergraduate majors (biomedical sciences, clinical laboratory science, exercise physiology, athletic training and speech pathology). In addition to a record-breaking number of applications, an ongoing trend over the past several years, the college’s selectivity rate was 33 percent (compared to the university mean of 52.4 percent), making it the highest among all colleges at Marquette offering more than a single academic major.
