Peer Health Educators Win Outstanding Program Award

Congratulations to the Peer Health Educators for winning an Outstanding Program Award at The BACCHUS Network's Area 4 Conference for their “Great American Smokeout 2008” campaign. Their tobacco education and awareness efforts particularly focused on enforcement of no-smoking policies, and led to the formation of the first ever Tobacco Coalition on Marquette's campus. Jennifer Ciske, Matt Tritz, and Kelly Roering - who comprised the Great American Smokeout 2008 planning committee - accepted the award on behalf of the PHEs at the conference in Minneapolis, on April 4.
