Irish Lecture Series Launches February 4th, 2016

Dr. Tim McMahon, associate professor in the Department of History, will deliver a lecture “Land and the Irish Revolution” on Thursday, February 4, at 4:30 pm in Cudahy 001. McMahon’s talk is the first in a series aimed at interrogating events that began 100 years ago this spring through close study of their literary and historical interpretations. Titled “Reconsidering the Rising: the Socio-Cultural Roots of the Irish Revolution,” the series is funded through a Mellon Grant from the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences. For more information on the series, contact Dr. McMahon (timothy.g.mcmahon@marquette.edu) or Dr. Leah Flack in the Department of English (leah.flack@marquette.edu). This event is free and open to the public.
