The department is pleased to announce that Dr. Phillip Naylor has been promoted from associate to full professor.
Naylor received his PhD from Marquette University and has been a professor here since 1992. He was the last professor to teach Western Civilization in the Varsity Theater and is an expert on modern Algeria and the Middle East. His most recent book is North Africa: A History from Antiquity to the Present.
