'Opening Doors' alumnae panel to focus on diversity

Alumnae from diverse backgrounds will reflect on the challenges, successes and opportunities they experienced during and after their years at Marquette in a panel discussion Thursday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. "Opening Doors to Opportunity" will be held in the Alumni Memorial Union ballroom, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave.

The event, which is part of the university's Centennial Celebration of Women, is free and open to the public.

Registration is required and is available online.

In 1909, Marquette became the first Catholic university in the world to offer coeducation as part of its regular undergraduate program.
