International Affairs Minor

The INIA Minor requires the following courses:

I. Background Courses

  • Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 043/2003)

  • Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 044/2004)

  • Comparative Politics (POSC 040/2401)

  • International Politics (POSC 060/2601)

II. Required Courses

  • An upper division course in international economics. We recommend ECON 151/4040, unless you have a strong background in economics, in which case there are other options.

  • International Law (POSC 165/4601)

  • International Organizations (POSC 167/4611)

  • Politics of the World Economy (POSC 177/4621)

  • World Conflict and Security (POSC 178/4631)

  • Senior Capstone Seminar in International Affairs (ARSC 160/INIA 4997) This course is offered every spring semester and should be taken as late in a student's career as possible. It is described in the "Capstone Seminar" section of this web page.
